British Indonesian poet, writer and translator (2025 edit: interpreter). Nonchalantly over thirty (2025 edit: over forty) – only just, fortunately (no edit here). Published two collections of poems Biografi Kehilangan (2006) and Broken Heart Walking (2009) and a collection of short stories Como Un Sueño (2005). Freelance contributor to The Jakarta Post and the The Jakarta Globe between 2008-2012.

Currently ambitiously looking to be able to afford my Parisian dream (living and writing Paris) without having to sell my Chanel bags (2025 edit: my flats in England), because what would a Parisan do without them, be it a faux Parisian? Believe me they’re all I’ve got, apart from this ambition.

Ideally I would love to live in Paris permanently, but I think I would have to stick with living there for a month or two each time, in between living in Southwest England (2025 edit: London), so if you feel so inclined to offer me cheap or, preferably, free fancy accommodation, a generous grant or a job writing a column for your publication (2025 edit: or an even easier job), don’t be shy:

je t’embrasse!
